Love your skin

I'm curious as to what is the ratio of male and female that uses facial cleanser. I know for certain that ladies would always allocate budgets on facial cleanser, facial wash, moisturizer, lipsticks, colognes, perfumes, clothes, shoes, bags and whatever that is pretty and nice and on sale at the department store. This isn't about vanity but it is more of personal hygiene and having acne free smooth skin on our face. It has become a ritual to me to wash my face every night with facial wash and would use facial scrub twice a week and make sure to be there on my facial treatment at the spa, now that can be considered as vain.

Growing up, I did not have a perfect smooth glowing skin, I had my share of pimples and very rare acne whenever the wrong hormones sets in on monthly basis. But mostly it was okay, now is even better. Must be because I make it a habit that I clean my face before I go to bed. I always make sure to wash my face, get on with the toner and then moisturize it with fruit acid extracts which is an organic facial moisturizer. As much as possible I like to use the organic products on my skin. And I take supplements too like Vit. E and Vit. C

I understand that many asian females wants to have a fair white skin, spare me because I love my skin tone. Totally confident and proud of my skin tone. It is costly enough to have the basic facial products and getting glutathione or other whitening products is way out of my budget. But still I'm curious if it taking the whitening pills do wonders as what the pharmaceutical and some pretty looking endorsers on advertisements claim to be. To my understanding the glutathione is a natural substance that forms in our liver which acts as anti-oxidant.

When I went out with some friends last Saturday night, we talked about some facial products that are effective. But my friend was talking about an expensive product she is using. Obviously there are some changes on her skin because I used to seeing her with pimples on her face. But question is, does it work with everybody? I remember switching to different brand of facial products and the first few week is annoying because I get some reactions. Does that happen to everybody?

Going back to the whole purpose of this blog. Do men have certain facial regimens like women do because every time I go to the a supermarket I see products that are for men. Before it was only an astringent but now its the whole line. From facial wash, facial toner, and facial moisturizer. It comes with facial scrub too. Maybe for metrosexuals but how about those laid back men out there. Can anyone share some of their secrets? Again this blog is not just about vanity but more on physical hygiene.
